Founded in 1992, we own, hunt, train and breed German Shorthairs.
The North American Versatile Hunting Dog Association (NAVHDA) is an integral part of our kennel. As a NAVHDA Judge, I have had the opportunity to judge and walk behind many breeds of pointing dogs. We have utilized NAVHDA training methods at the kennel for the past 20 years. Our dogs are dual registered in NAVHDA and AKC where we test and train to NAVHDA and AKC standards. Our dogs come from a long line of NAVHDA dogs bred for the foot hunter; they possess a strong desire to please. Several of the kennel's litters have received Natural Ability Breeders Awards. The 2002 litter produced a NAVHDA Utility Breeder's Award, a first for the kennel with an average score of 200 out of a possible 204 points. This is quite an accomplishment for pups that were less than 2 ½ years old, demonstrating trainability and a high level of cooperation.
The training techniques are custom designed for each dog at the kennel, whether it is obedience, gun dog training or more specific NAVHDA or AKC training. Each dog is treated as an individual, with the training program being adjusted to fit the dog's needs and capabilities.

We participate with our dogs in the NAVHDA testing system and AKC Hunt tests. Angel and I have attained the title of Versatile Champion.
We work with our clients to teach them how to handle their dogs in the hunting arena as well as in the NAVHDA and AKC testing programs.
